I decided to start an accessiblity meet up group to get a feel for people who may be looking for a church home or group that caters to the need of individuals with special needs. I myself have family members who are spiritual and have special needs so i know there is a need in the washington area community for this type of ministry.

The KnoThySelf group mission is to find and make available information and services that help people explore and appreciate the African American family history. You should join if you are interested in exploring your family history to see where it takes you as the past is a platform to the future. In working with one another, we will leverage the meet up group to Honor the African American Legacy!

Just because you have a baby doesnt mean you want to stay home all the time! This group welcomes parents in the Del Ray (and surrounding) neighborhoods who are looking to meet other parents with young children. Ideal for people with children ages 1-4.
